Summary

A poll taken place in England showed that they was a reduction in the consumption of alcohol among teenagers between 11 to 15 years old,but there was an increase in the consumption in those who drink. This survey also showed that drinking alcohol is more common between boys than girls, but the ones who drink are drinking more than ever before. It is worth noting that children who drink alcohol are more likely to smoke or to take drugs.People from the health secretary criticized the government because their message didn´t seem to get children. The study also showed that children are likely to drink alcohol if they live with people who regularly do it.

Personal Reaction

This poll showed that even first world countries as England have this problem. It is worrying that this practice is so common among teenagers, and it makes me wonder where their parent are and the way they are educating their children.I think that the only way to solve this problem is to be responsible as parents and to take care of our children. The government also must control and punish people who sell alcohol to teenagers.
