Summary

A reintegration programme carried out in Nicaragua is fighting against gangs but without violence;they try to reintegrate young criminals to society by working in the government.Nowadays,Nicaragua has a Sandinista government in power and they are giving gangsters an opportunity to change their lives and be part of the society. This programme has been very successful in reintegrating young gangs and it shows that it is possible to battle gangsters without violence:government should just give them a chance.

Personal Reaction

It is hard to believe that the Nicaragua´s government is fighting against gangsters without using violence and that they are being successful in doing it.However,if this is true it is good to know that we can solve problems without violence and by just giving these people a chance to be part of society once again.I think that the solution to all these problems is education and opportunities.
